Roam Fitness is putting full-service gyms in airports, and the fitness-for-travelers trend may grow according to the Boston Globe. Roam’s first location in the Baltimore airport is over 1,000 square feet and includes cardio equipment, free weights, a TRX system, private bathrooms, and showers. A day pass costs $25.

Floating yoga and barre is taking NYC by storm this Summer and the Today Show test drove it at TMPL Gym in Manhattan. We’ve had stand-up paddleboard yoga for a while here in California so it’s nice to see the East Coast catching up–even if it is in a pool 🙂

Fitness tracker company Jawbone is shutting down and liquidating its assets according to various news outlets. Hosain Rahman, Jawbone’s CEO, will be starting a new company, Jawbone Health Hub, which will focus on medical software and devices.
